Application Info

General Guidelines

  • Applicants must be 14+ to apply.

  • You may apply for both the spot and merch position, but will only be accepted for one.

  • Applicants will be judged solely on their presented portfolio. External factors such as follower count will not be considered during our selection process.

  • We will not accept applicants that engage in hateful activities; applicants with plagiarized work or a history of plagiarism; or applicants with a history of zine policy violation.

Portfolio Guidelines

  • Please present** 5-10 of your best works** in a portfolio. If a portfolio contains more than 10 pieces, only the first 10 will be reviewed. We prefer the portfolio not be a social media site (i.e. instagram) unless the site is specifically curated as a portfolio.

  • At least one sample should contain illustrations of animals. Hamsters are greatly appreciated, but not required!

  • Please ensure that your portfolio is accessible and easy to navigate. We will not contact applicants individually to unlock portfolios; all inaccessible links or missing samples will result in disqualification.

  • Do not edit or change your portfolio during the judging period, as this may alter permissions.

  • Please do not include NSFW samples.

  • If you want to update/change your application- please submit a new application!
